Our Current Need:

We are seeking a CAD Designer Electrical with 1 to 3 years of experience in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) within the automation industry. You will be working at either Thermo Systems Pittsburgh, PA, or East Windsor, NJ, location.

What Youll Do:

This detail-oriented position will be an integral part of our project implementation team, responsible for assisting the project team in the automation design of PLC-based control systems.

Requirements:

Qualified Candidates shall exhibit one or more of the following attributes:

Proof of Covid vaccination is required at time-of-hire.
Basic understanding of electrical and mechanical system design, as it relates to control system design drawing packages.
Basic understanding of Information Technology (IT) system, network infrastructure, and computer system design, as it relates to control system integration.
Demonstrated experience in the development of CAD control system drawing packages for engineering projects under the direction of lead design engineers.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in basic control system panel wiring and design with guidance from others.
Proficiency in Microsoft operating systems and Office tools.
Proficiency with the use of AutoCAD software package as it relates to electrical and control panel design.
Some working experience with instrumentation, technical specifications, and wiring details is preferred.
The ability to work independently as well as on a project team.
