The author of this blog is Tim Olson, President of Evolution Software. Here's a little bit about him in his own words:
"Evolution Software leads the development efforts for Encore's CAD products that target the retail and professional digital design markets. These products were originally acquired from CADSoft Solutions (CSI) in 2006. As former founder of CSI, Olson guided the company into providing high-quality commerical CAD software rebranded under such names as CADD Pro, AeroCADD, Concepts, Vellum Solids, Vellum Cobalt, TurboCAD Mac, and TurboCAD 2D/3D.
Prior to founding CSI in 1994, Olson was Chief Engineer for Lockheed's Advanced Programs Design Methods group where he was responsible for the development of Lockheed's internal CAD program, one of the first associative hybrid CAD systems to evolve onto workstation technology in the early 1980's."
